Signs of the Zodiac

I’m definitely not a believer in astrology or anything like it, but I do know several people who have their “sign” tattooed on their body somewhere.  I’d venture to guess that most people who chose their sign as a tattoo don’t believe in it, either; they just thought it was kind of cool.

However, due to the earth’s very wobbly orbit, the astrology chart most people relied on is now quite different. Some people have discovered, much to their chagrin, that the tattoo that symbolized “their sign” is no longer accurate.  In other words, people are now wearing some other person’s birth and fate details, not their own.

My sign is Capricorn.  Well, it used to be; now it’s Sagittarius.  This means nothing to me except that now I’ll have to read about how my day is going to go, in that tiny little newspaper column about the Horoscope, in another category.  Also?  It’ll be sort of nice not to be a goat any more.  🙂

My point?  Things change, and maybe it’s not such a good idea to put a permanent piece of skin art on our bodies because at any point in time, relationships change.  Locations change.  Conditions change.  Likes and dislikes change.  Names change.  And apparently, even the route a planet takes can change.

To all of you people out there who are now wearing the wrong sign of the zodiac on your body:  Order some Nuviderm and get rid of it.  It’s easy, almost painless, and leaves no scar or trace of any kind.  At least, that’s how it worked for me.

I think one of the main reasons people get a tattoo removed, although it wasn’t MY reason, is that the tattoo is the name of a former spouse or significant other – key word here, FORMER.  It seems as though almost every day, we read about yet another celebrity, for example, who wants a tattoo, or tattoos, removed because of a divorce or some kind of breaking off the relationship.

A few years ago, for example, Johnny Depp was in love with Winona Ryder, and he had “Winona Forever” tattooed onto his body.  That tattoo was partially removed and says something else now.

Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen both had personal tattoos about each other, and  both are looking into removal now that they’ve been divorced.  Brittany Spears’ tattoo was nowhere to be seen when she was guest-starring on a television show just this year.

Probably the most well-known celebrity tattoo removal was Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton, though.  Their relationship was stormy and intense, but after it was over, both of them were still branded with reminders of it.  Awkward.  I always wonder what Brad Pitt thought of it.

Eva Longoria made public her plan to remove her ex-husband’s name from her skin, and even rappers and musicians like Pharrell and Fifty Cent have had tattoos removed – apparently, too many tattoos can be bad for business.  Even that kind of business!  Oh, and remember that Kelly Osbourne had some of her tattoos removed last year!

I guess the theme of this post is that even famous people screw up when it comes to tattoos, and even though every reason people get tattoos in the first place and then get them removed might not always be the same, there are reasons that ARE the same.

I’m just glad I chose to have mine removed, and I especially love the way I did it: painless, fast, and perfect!  (There isn’t even a mark on my leg where the tattoo had been for 30 years, now!)

I’m wondering if anyone else has ever noticed this reaction:  After playing outside in the snow with the kids for a couple of hours, I noticed later that the skin where my tattoo USED to be was very, very pale, compared to the surrounding skin.  There was no pain, nothing strange, just paleness!

My skin is pale anyway, but this very small area was almost white, paper-white.  I’m not worried about it; it’s just that I noticed it a few minutes after coming back into the house today.  Come to think of it, that area of skin was paler than the rest underneath the tattoo when it was there. . . .

My husband told me in strictest secrecy that he never liked my little tattoo, all these years, and that he’s really glad it’s gone now.  I never knew he disliked my tattoo!  But now that I do know, I’m even gladder that I removed it.

I guess that’s not a secret now, huh.  Whoops.

Thanks again, Nuviderm.  You might have improved my marriage, as well as removed that embarrassing sign of a bad college-era night!

I’ve said this before, but I’ll say it again because it’s still true:  we’ve all done things we regret.  I’m not talking about big horrible things; I’m talking about small things that seemed cool at the time, but that we now wish we hadn’t done.

Like get a tattoo we now regret.

People change as they mature, and often – not always, but often – a tattoo that was so awesome and perfect thirty years ago is now just a reminder of how stupid we were, that night, after all those beers.

I had such tremendous good results with the tattoo removal process I chose, so I’m recommending it to all of you as a fabulous holiday gift for someone you know, who has expressed a wish or desire to remove an embarrassing tattoo.

I’m serious.  The Nuviderm tattoo removal process would make an AWESOME gift.  It’s inexpensive, practical, and could be an absolute lifesaver for someone who is in the job market and who is considering applying/interviewing for a somewhat conservative company. It would also be a great gift for someone who just plain outgrew the tattoo of his/her youth.

All orders are processed within 24 hours, except for weekends.

Thank you, readers, for your emails and questions.  I’ll try to answer some of them in this blogpost.

Several of you have asked me about skin “bleaching,” or did the Nuviderm solution take the color out of my skin as it faded my tattoo?  The answer, for me, is “no.”  However, I am VERY fair-skinned, so even if some of the pigment was peeled away, it wouldn’t have shown.  The skin where my tattoo used to be looks just like the skin on the rest of my leg.

I started this process last May, and finished up last month, in November.  Since I am so fair, I used a very mild solution – 17% – and pretty much took my time with it.  Every 4 weeks or so, I re-applied the solution.  A time or two, I applied the solution after 3 weeks, if the peeling was doing well, and once I waited 5 weeks because of tenderness.

Speaking of tenderness, there really wasn’t all that much except for that one time.  I expected PAIN, but didn’t really get any.

How much money did I save by using Nuviderm instead of going ahead with laser removal?  Almost a thousand dollars, y’all.  The financial part was awesome, and so were the results.

I want to remind you all to apply the antibiotic regularly, and to keep your fading tattoo covered.  Especially, keep it OUT OF THE SUN!

Nuviderm makes a great Christmas gift for someone who needs or wants to get rid of a tattoo.

–Sylvia

P.S.  If you start the tattoo removal process now, your tattoo will be gone in time for shorts and swimsuit season!

Every day I read more articles about people – celebrities and the rest of us – who have ended a relationship, applied for a new job, etc, and who want or need to remove a tattoo that no longer applies to their lives.

Eva Longoria, for example, is divorcing Tony Parker and wants to remove his name from her skin.  Kelly Osbourne, too, is anxious to have evidence of her past life faded off her body.

At this time of the year, we are all thinking about unique gifts to give a the important people in our lives for Christmas.  Well, why not give the gift of “past life removal?”

I’m serious.

Remember, the Nuviderm procedure that I used on my own tattoo worked beautifully, with no side effects, no pain, no mess, and no scarring.  It’s priced well at the level of a nice holiday gift, too.

Therefore, why not give your friends and family who have expressed the desire to remove a tattoo, the gift of Nuviderm, this holiday season?

Have you any idea how much laser tattoo removal costs?  It runs anywhere from a couple of thousand dollars all the way to to ten thousand or more!  It all depends on the size of your tattoo, really.

With laser removal, you have to go to the clinic for each session, and you have to pay by the session.  This means, anywhere from $150.00 all the way up to a thousand, per treatment, per month.  This adds up fast, friends.

You might end up pay ten thousand dollars or more to get your tattoo removed, plus the inconvenience and gas money.

With Nuviderm, you pay out the sum total of $39.99 and it’s all done in the privacy of your own home.

With laser removal, there is often severe pain and scarring.

With Nuviderm, the pain is VERY minimal, and, speaking entirely for myself, there’s no scar at all!

There are so many reasons to choose the Nuviderm tattoo removal procedure, and the lack of pain, no scarring, and price are only three.  They’re the big three, but still, they’re only three.

I recommend the tattoo removal procedure I used to anybody, any time.  It worked great; it wasn’t expensive; it didn’t hurt; and I’ve got no scar, not even a little one.

I haven’t mentioned the name of my tattoo removal procedure very much, because my blog is about the removal experience, not the product placement, but now that it’s over, I’m telling the world which product worked this miracle for me.

Which tattoo removal system is the best?  In my opinion – via actual experience – Nuviderm is far superior to laser, hands down.

Now that my tattoo is gone, I feel quite qualified to tell YOU how to remove your tattoo!

Remember, I wasn’t sure at first that the procedure I’d chosen would even work, let alone work GREAT.  I googled all kinds of ways to remove tattoos; I checked out laser tattoo removal and pretty much every tattoo removal cream and ointment I could find online.  The tattoo removal’s price was beyond my budget, and I was also fearful of all the comments about pain, scars, etc.  The creams and  ointments all seemed pretty much alike, and most were quite expensive.

Then I found Nuviderm online, and it seemed almost too good to be true.  I was wary; you know what they say about things that seem too good to be true!  However, this time, it WAS true.

The price was reasonable, the pain was minimal, there is no scar, and the whole process took just a few months!

I’m sold.  And I’ll recommend it to you, too.  It worked for me.  It’ll work for you.

Remember, though, that if your tattoo is huge, just to get rid of a section at a time.  That’s the only thing.

The skin you’re looking at is really redder than it appears here, but that’s beside the point.  the actual point is, my tattoo is pretty much gone.

You have to look a lot closer than any of YOU will ever get to see the very faintest of lines left.  Really, you have to know what you’re looking for to even know what you’re looking at.

The skin on my leg is still tender, but nothing to bother me.  The redness fades more and more every day.  I was afraid the black ink might show up again once the redness faded this much but it’s just not there to show!

I am so pleased with this product.  I’d even gladder that I didn’t go the laser tattoo removal route.  I’m sure it would have probably worked, but I’d be a lot poorer, financially speaking, and from what I’ve both heard and read, laser treatment would have hurt a LOT more than this process.  In fact, and I know I’ve mentioned this many times before, the Nuviderm procedure really didn’t hurt much at all!

I wish I’d done this years ago.  However, it’s just as well that I waited for a product that would remove my old tattoo so quickly, so almost painlessly, and so completely.

Nuviderm Satisfaction Factor: 100% satisfied.  In fact, I want to add this word:  AWESOME!!!!

In a million years, I would never have guessed that a tattoo removal procedure would be so easy, pain-free, and fast.  Somehow, I thought it would take a lot longer to fade a tattoo away, even a little one like mine.

Except, I really don’t have mine any more!  There’s nothing but a slight black blur on my leg now.  I considered stopping the procedure here, because there’s really not much left of the tattoo, but what’s left looks a bit like a little bruise, so I’m going for one more application, and I know that will take care of it.

The pain and general discomfort I expected never came, either.  Everything was pretty mild, even when my skin LOOKED bad, it never felt all that bad.  So, if you’re scared of the pain, don’t be.  Just use the procedure I used, and there just won’t be much pain at all.

Plus, this procedure (Nuviderm) costs so much less than laser treatment, it’s unbelievable.  Instead of the hundreds of dollars laser would have cost me, I spent less than fifty bucks and my results are PRICELESS!
